Making Soup For Dinner

Hi! I'm making soup today! I'm going to show you some pictures. Well, here they are! Enjoy! 

 Ooh, I was so nervous that time. I was thinking: What if I cut my finger? What if I chop it off?!!? What if I chop of my WHOLE HAND?! But luckily I didn't. OK, so, first I cut the carrots then I cut the tomatoes. ( You can see two slices of carrots on top. )

 Now to cut the potato. It's kind of an oval shape and the one I needed cut was rock hard ! The knife just couldn't slice through the potato properly. Then my mom helped me slice the potato because the knife was stuck to the potato L.O.L ! : D  I couldn't take it out or continue to slice...... but mom still managed to cut it.

Drop, drop, drop it in la la la la la~ The last task is to Drop It In! The ingredients, I mean. So PLOP, PLOP, PLOP goes the ingredients, and OUCH! goes me! The boiling hot water sprayed up, and one drop of that water hit me. It was HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!! After mom and I finished dropping in food, mom covered the lid. I went into the computer room and begin to play Club Penguin. When dinner was ready I went out to eat ( Or in my case drink. ). So now I'm writing in my blog and telling you this.

Super Model Baby Doll

Hi! Look, this is my baby! Her name is Daisy. She is three years old. Shes going for a photo shoot in the studio I set up. Daisy is going to be a SUPER MODEL!!!

See? Isn't she pretty?! This was my first fashion I made. ( Though my mom helped a bit :p ) I think it's a sundress. What shall I call it?

This is her next dress. Isn't it gorgeous??? It's supposed to be a double layered dress. I used my handkerchief to make it.The sequin on top is from an earring, her clip is mom's, and her belt is my elastic band. I use it at school.

 Oooh! This is my favorite! I call it "Prom Night". Mom designed it. She got inspired by what used to be the back of Daisy's dress. But I thought that the back of her dress was messy and badly pinned. But still! It's still my favorite. Thats because it's fashionable. Look closely and you will see the pattern.

Champion 冠军

Today, I was at school. It was the Chinese Storytelling Competition and my friend and I were in the race! I dashed up the stairs quickly. I didn't want to be late for the competition! When I got up, the others were just reading 弟子规.

I was glad I wasn't late for the competition. I plopped down on the floor. I began to read with them, '' 弟子规，圣人训，首孝弟，次谨信......'' Finally we finished reading. As we stood up, it started to get noisy. '' Okay, 今天早上班的同学要在这里课外活动，所以等一下才有讲故事比赛。'' , said one of the teachers. So we went back to the class. After that, we went to the auditorium. I was very happy because the day before today, the students from standard one had their race in the assembly hall. I walked to the front row with my friend. So after three stories it was my turn. I got a little nervous as I walked up the stage. I took a deep breath and waited for the prefect to adjust the microphone. When the prefect finished adjusting the microphone, I started to tell my story:

“有一天，老虎走到森林边，看见一头驴在那儿吃草。可是老虎不知道那是什么东西，因为它没见过驴，就很小心的走近驴。

驴一抬头，看见老虎走到自己身边，吓了一跳。可是它马上镇静下来，抬起头对着大老虎说：“好一只肥大的老虎！我昨天吃掉的那只太瘦了，今天还没有吃到老虎，正饿得慌，就有老虎自动送到嘴边，我可真有口福！”

老虎一听，吓得扭头就跑，差点撞翻一只狐狸。

“哎哟喂呀，大王！”狐狸从地方爬起来喊：“您那么匆忙的跑什么呀？”

( At this part everyone laughed because I used a squeaky voice. )

老虎喘着气说：“快点跑吧！森林边上有个长脸大耳朵的家伙要吃我呢！”

狐狸一听，差点笑出声来。“大王，您说的是驴吧？那是天下最无能的东西，怎么能吃您呢？”
 ( At this part everyone laughed again. )

老虎怀疑的问到：“你说的是真的？”狐狸回答：“哎唷，我怎能骗大王呢？要不咱们回去看看。”

老虎仍不放心的说：“不，不，你想把我带到那儿，让它吃了我，然后自己逃走吗？” 狐狸建议把它们的尾巴栓在一起，老虎同意了。于是，它们将尾巴结实的栓在一块儿，向驴那边走去。

驴吓跑了老虎，以为说没事了。这会儿又看见狐狸和老虎一起来了，知道是狐狸出了坏点子。驴心里有了主意，当狐狸和老虎接近它的时候，它就用洪亮的嗓门说：“狐狸先生，你可真守信用，昨天送来的老虎有点瘦，我让你以后送只肥的来，今天果然送来了。你放心，我会把吃剩的给你一些。”

老虎一听，吓得魂都没了，任凭狐狸怎么叫喊，老虎也不停下来。最后，狐狸的头撞在石头上，不一会儿就死了。

同学们，这个故事告诉我们，当我们遇到危险时，应该冷静应对，才能更好的保护自己。

我的故事讲完了。谢谢。”

My story was over. So after 6 stories I was getting tired. Finally it was story 18, my friend's turn. Her story was 青蛙国王. When she finished her story I was starting to yawn. when the 'stories' were over it was time for the prizes. When they got to number 2, I thought that it would never be me. " 下一个是第几名？" asked the teacher. " 第一名！！！" we shouted. I heard some students chanting.

" 第一名的同学是 二J 班的陈予洁同学！" she announced. I was shocked. Was it really me?!?!  I thought. So I walked up the stage. I was extremely happy. I went down the stage with the other winners. The End!

I Wish... I Wish... I Wish...

Do you want to know my wishes? I think I'll tell you three wishes. Wish 1) I wish I can fly. If I could fly, I wouldn't be scared of falling down the Grand Canyon! And I could fly from Malaysia to America to China to Africa to France then back to Malaysia in one week's time!

Wish 2) I wish I have super-powers. If I had super-powers I could do anything I want! I could jump from Malaysia to America or turn myself into a fairy or a mermaid!

Wish 3) I wish I am famous. If I am famous, I might have my own limousine and a private jet!

So this is only three of my wishes, I have much much much much more! The End!

Pool, Drool, Cool, Zoo...... Oh how I hate SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Eat your lunch quickly it is time for school!"

"Have you even finished your homework yet?!"

I go to school and do this do that, I think I'd better go to bed! I hate school it's just sooo bad, I get homework, bad homework. I don't even like recess time! No talking in exam?! My friend talked in an exam without being caught by any the teachers! I hate school as much as I hate doing homework! I only like races in school. The races are fun, especially in running races and ( running ) races where we run three  rounds. Actually I want to race in another country like America? No way! I would never win! School is so different from tutions and home. I like the outdoors more than school and tutions. But like home more than outdoors. School, school, school, school, school, no school, no school. Why?! Why not: No school, no school, no school, no school, no school, school, school. Why not?! I HATE SCHOOL!!!!!! SCHOOL IS SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE SPORTS AND IT IS SPORTS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day, I was going to my school, 子文's Sports Day I was soo EXCITED!!!!!!! I was in the race, we needed to run three rounds. As we warmed up with one of the sports teachers I got super excited. I wondered if I would win or lose.

The boys started running first. Then it was the girls turn. So I begin to run. Everyone ran very quickly hoping to win, except for me and some others. My friend ran very fast  so she was number one, I smiled, I was sure she would win a prize. But as soon as she reached the finish line for the first round where we collected the first item: A stamp, she began jogging. 8 girls caught up with her. Then I caught up with her! Now she was walking. 

I jogged towards my English teacher, Mrs. Chong  to get the second item: A rubber band with a recycled paper stapled to it. So since it was the last round, I started running faster. I held my rubber-bracelet tightly because I couldn't let it drop, it was proof I passed the second round. 

I ran faster and faster and more sweat dripped down my forehead. I got very close to the finish line. '' 有六个人在我的前面 '', I mumbled. I ran nearer to the rope. It had signs saying where to go. I grinned, then I ran back to the middle. ''Hmmm 3 girls in front of me.''  I thought. I ran super fast. But I was running out of energy, and the person who was winning number one was way too far to catch up with. In the end, I got number four and my friend who used to be number one got number thirteen!

Teachers gave the first twenty children cards saying what prize they got. A teacher brought me and other students to get signed up for the prizes. A teacher I knew from grade 1 signed me up '' 你又会唱歌又会跑。'' , She said. I smiled. Then a teacher got us to wait for the trophies. I waited waited and WAITED finally I stood up and squated down again '' Hmpf! '' , I mumbled. I had no idea what was taking them sooo long.

Finally the teachers let us stand up. They let the 2nd grade girls get their trophies first. They started from prize twenty. This is how it went: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14,  13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. When it got to  4, I ran up to my school's assistant principal to get my trophy. '' 哇, 你也有赢到奖牌啊?! '' , She asked. I grinned. '' 予洁! '' , called a voice as I was about to run back to my class who were waiting for me. I turned and saw my Malay teacher. She was holding a camera. I smiled holding my trophy. CLICK-CLACK! Went the camera.

I ran to my class. My class teacher walked over to me and  took my water-bottle away from me. '' 等一下还要拍照的啦! 你要背着水壶拍照是吗?! '' , She said. '' 拍照?! '' , I asked. '' 对啦! 你不知道要拍照啊?! 快点去去去! '',  She said. So, I ran back to the field.with my trophy.

One of the teachers told the 2nd and 1st grade boys to bow but still look at the camera. The 1st grade girls squated down, they were in the front row. The 1st grade boys were in the second row, the 2nd grade boys in the third and the 2nd grade girls in the fourth. We held up our trophies high as the photo got taken. Me and my class went back to class for 26 minutes. Then it was time to go home. Once I saw my mother I hid my trophy behind my back but I kept on giggling! In the end I showed my mother my trophy and told her that I got number 4! We waited for my neighbor's class ( as usual ) and when they came out we went back home happily.

It's Boring Being The Only Child!

  I am going to tell you how boring it is being the only child:

 When you are the only child it is super boring. You can just do things by yourself or with your father and mother, or maybe you go to a daycare center. Still being by yourself is just no fun. You have to wait for tuitions and holiday clubs then you can get half the fun, sometimes you might play with your father or mother but if you have a brother or sister it will be even more fun! I always say '' I want a little brother or sister! '' or '' 我要一个弟弟或者一个妹妹! '' I HATE being the only child, it is boring boring BORING!!! 

Oh How I wish I wasn't the ONLY CHILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
