I LOVE SPORTS AND IT IS SPORTS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

One day, I was going to my school, 子文's Sports Day I was soo EXCITED!!!!!!! I was in the race, we needed to run three rounds. As we warmed up with one of the sports teachers I got super excited. I wondered if I would win or lose.

The boys started running first. Then it was the girls turn. So I begin to run. Everyone ran very quickly hoping to win, except for me and some others. My friend ran very fast  so she was number one, I smiled, I was sure she would win a prize. But as soon as she reached the finish line for the first round where we collected the first item: A stamp, she began jogging. 8 girls caught up with her. Then I caught up with her! Now she was walking

I jogged towards my English teacher, Mrs. Chong  to get the second item: A rubber band with a recycled paper stapled to it. So since it was the last round, I started running faster. I held my rubber-bracelet tightly because I couldn't let it drop, it was proof I passed the second round. 

I ran faster and faster and more sweat dripped down my forehead. I got very close to the finish line. '' 有六个人在我的前面 '', I mumbled. I ran nearer to the rope. It had signs saying where to go. I grinned, then I ran back to the middle. ''Hmmm 3 girls in front of me.''  I thought. I ran super fast. But I was running out of energy, and the person who was winning number one was way too far to catch up with. In the end, I got number four and my friend who used to be number one got number thirteen!

Teachers gave the first twenty children cards saying what prize they got. A teacher brought me and other students to get signed up for the prizes. A teacher I knew from grade 1 signed me up '' 你又会唱歌又会跑。'' , She said. I smiled. Then a teacher got us to wait for the trophies. I waited waited and WAITED finally I stood up and squated down again '' Hmpf! '' , I mumbled. I had no idea what was taking them sooo long.

Finally the teachers let us stand up. They let the 2nd grade girls get their trophies first. They started from prize twenty. This is how it went: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14,  13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. When it got to  4, I ran up to my school's assistant principal to get my trophy. '' 哇, 你也有赢到奖牌啊?! '' , She asked. I grinned. '' 予洁! '' , called a voice as I was about to run back to my class who were waiting for me. I turned and saw my Malay teacher. She was holding a camera. I smiled holding my trophy. CLICK-CLACK! Went the camera.

I ran to my class. My class teacher walked over to me and  took my water-bottle away from me. '' 等一下还要拍照的啦! 你要背着水壶拍照是吗?! '' , She said. '' 拍照?! '' , I asked. '' 对啦! 你不知道要拍照啊?! 快点去去去! '',  She said. So, I ran back to the field.with my trophy.

One of the teachers told the 2nd and 1st grade boys to bow but still look at the camera. The 1st grade girls squated down, they were in the front row. The 1st grade boys were in the second row, the 2nd grade boys in the third and the 2nd grade girls in the fourth. We held up our trophies high as the photo got taken. Me and my class went back to class for 26 minutes. Then it was time to go home. Once I saw my mother I hid my trophy behind my back but I kept on giggling! In the end I showed my mother my trophy and told her that I got number 4! We waited for my neighbor's class ( as usual ) and when they came out we went back home happily.

  2. That is a very nice narration. I can almost visualize the entire event :)
    Also, this reminds me of my own sports day twenty over years ago, which is a fond memory that I still cherish :)
